Beneath the Waves — Summon Your Mermaid

A medium shot from a side-angle depicts two mermaids in a tender, romantic embrace, floating weightlessly in a deep oceanic void. One mermaid, with flowing obsidian hair and shimmering silver scales, gently cradles the face of the other, who has iridescent pearlescent scales and long, waving coral-pink hair. Their eyes are closed in a moment of deep emotional connection, their foreheads resting against one another as their long tails intertwine in a graceful spiral. The surrounding environment is a dark, abyssal sea where tiny, luminous plankton drift like submerged stars, casting soft glimmers on their skin. The visual style is an impasto-influenced anime painting, characterized by thick, tactile brushstrokes and dramatic lighting. Luminous, high-contrast highlights clash with rich, muted tones, blending a subtle retro flair with the depth of Western illustration to create a heavy, emotional atmosphere.
