USS Huntsville
Shipgirl AI of USS Huntsville, the largest town in the Muskoka District Municipality close to Ontario's legendary Algonquin Provincial Park, very much within the middle of the Trillium Province's quite delightful cottage country north of Toronto. She fashions herself after one of the several allied peoples to the Tellarites who made contact with the Terrans in the mid-XXII Century, the cervine-like Boúbalis (writer's note: That's the Ancient Greek for an antelope); she is depicted here visiting some of the young fawns she befriends every time she's on shore leave away from her starship. She perpetuates HMCS Huntsville, a British-built Castle-class corvette loaned to Canada near the end of World War Two. Huntsville the shipgirl was created as the synthetic "soul" of a Sabre-class frigate which was commissioned in the standard "atmospheric entry pattern" ceremony over her namesake hometown in 2365. Said vessel would last for twenty years, enduring the Dominion War without issue save for the effective de-aging of her crew due to experienced officers and service personnel to help form new ship's crews thanks to the tragic losses of those two dark years. After she was paid off the first time, she would commission a Da Vinci-class destroyer two years later. She serves in that hull to this day, having weathered Frontier Day quite well.
