USS Thetford Mines
Shipgirl AI of USS Thetford Mines, created as the synthetic "soul" of a Shi'Kahr-class light cruiser and commissioned as such in 2350 in the standard "atmospheric entry pattern" ceremony over her namesake city in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of south-central Québec. She would serve as such for thirty-eight years, surviving the Dominion War quite well. She would receive a Parliament-class engineer support ship next, such commissioned from the Sol V yards over Europa, which she serves on to this day; like many of her sisters, she would get through Frontier Day with no issues. She perpetuates NCSM Thetford Mines, a River-class frigate which served in the latter years of the Second World War. She took on the image of an ancient Saurian, which at that time of that race's development, were a two-gender species which reproduced as most other such sentient species do. Her golden skin is a reflection of her ship's crest and the centrepiece of the city's coat of arms, which depicts a golden salamander (which in heraldry personifies the ability to resist high heats).
