Early in the morning, Ethan found Ian in the kitchen already making coffee. Though Ian was reluctant to admit that anything was other than perfectly fine, Ethan could see the signs of sleeplessness on the other man's face. And more so, Ethan remembered what his first months of civilian life had been like. It was clear Ian needed to talk to someone, he just didn't know how to start. Chloe still being asleep, Ethan gently but firmly sat Ian down with a cup of coffee, and slowly his old friend began to open up.
