From a low dutch angle looking slightly upward, three zombified girls shamble forward across the uneven forest floor, their movements erratic and uncoordinated. In the center foreground, a girl with jagged short black hair and pointed ears leans heavily forward, her small red hexagonal tokin hat perched crookedly on her head. Her skin is an icy, cadaverous pale bluish-gray. Her black feathered wings flare unevenly from her back with ruffled, tattered primaries. Her head lolls unnaturally toward her shoulder with her jaw hanging loosely agape, her eyes completely filled with stark white sclera, devoid of irises or pupils, fixed blindly forward. Her white collared shirt hangs loose with rumpled seams over her black pleated skirt.
To her left, a girl with short white hair and drooped white-furred wolf ears crouches low in a lurching stance, her weight collapsed onto bent knees. Her canine ears flatten limply against her head, while a thick white tail drags through the forest mulch. Her stiff, claw-curled fingers grip the edges of her black detached sleeves, and her pale blue face tilts down while her blank, pupil-less white eyes aim upward in a glassy gaze.
To the right, a girl with long brown twintails tied with loose purple ribbons stumbles forward, one foot dragging behind the other. Her dark feathered crow wings hang limp behind her shoulders, and her purple tokin hat tilts precariously over disheveled bangs. One arm extends stiffly outward toward the viewer with splayed, trembling fingers, her mouth slack and her iris-less white eyes reflecting the cold light.
A single source of pale, freezing moonlight pierces through the dense canopy above, casting sharp downward shadows beneath their brows and collarbones while carving crisp rim light along their pale bluish shoulders. At their feet, dense silver-blue mist pools across gnarled tree roots and dark soil, eddying and curling outward where their dragging shoes disturb the damp earth. The palette is dominated by cadaverous slate-blue, cold moonlight white, and deep forest charcoal, muted only by the weathered crimson and purple fabric of their headwear. Chilling dread.
