Majestic Emerald Western Dragon

I've always been captivated by the sheer power and grace of western dragons, and this emerald beauty is no exception. The way the light hits those vibrant green scales and piercing blue eyes really brings this mythical creature to life for me. The creature bears its weight on thick digitigrade hind legs, its heavy feet tipped with sharp curved claws planted solidly on the slate, while its thick, muscular tail curls forward along the ground beside its right foot to counterbalance its stance. Broad pale yellow segmented underbelly plates run continuously from the throat down the chest and abdomen to the tail's base, bordered cleanly by dense, overlapping emerald-green reptilian scales covering its neck, shoulders, and muscular flanks. Two scaled arms are held forward at mid-chest height, their three-fingered hands tensed with polished sharp black claws. Large leathery green membranous wings flare outward from behind its shoulders, showing distinct jointed wing-fingers and taut skin. Its angular, lizard-like head is tilted slightly forward toward the viewer, featuring prominent scaly brow ridges, glowing sapphire-blue eyes with vertical slit pupils, and parted jaws that reveal small pointed teeth as a slender, deep pink forked tongue flicks outward into the air. Crisp cool directional light from the upper left catches individual specular highlights across the keeled scales of its snout and forearm ridges, while casting a clear, hard contact shadow directly beneath its talons on the stone. Formidable, pristine.
