Mass Effect Asari Stargazer

There's always been something mesmerizing about the Asari, and I tried to capture that quiet elegance here against the backdrop of deep space. I really love how the lighting turned out on her blue skin! Hope you enjoy this piece; please leave a like and follow if you want to see more of my work!

character: liara_t'soni 1girl, solo, liara t'soni, blue skin, blue eyes, dark blue head-tendrils swept back over the crown and hanging past the shoulders, pale freckles across the nose and cheekbones, white and dark-blue fitted armor with a high collar, from behind, over-shoulder composition, looking out window, standing at a viewport, hand resting on the window frame, leaning slightly forward, head tilted up, starship interior, port observation deck, large curved viewport, starfield beyond the glass, looking at stars, quiet, contemplative Seen from behind and slightly to her left in an over-shoulder composition, the asari woman stands alone at the tall curved viewport of the ship's port observation deck, her back three-quarters to the camera and her face turned away toward the glass. The deck is a narrow rounded alcove of dark grey alloy paneling with a recessed ceiling strip glowing a soft cool white, and the viewport fills the front of the frame — a single vast pane of thick transparent composite braced by two vertical ribs, its lower edge curving into the deck floor at hip height. She stands close to the glass with her feet apart and her weight settled onto her right leg, left knee faintly bent; her right hand is flat against the pane's lower frame, fingertips spread on the cold metal, her left arm hanging with the elbow slightly out. Her head is lifted a little, chin raised, the tendrils at the back of her skull falling forward over her shoulder at the turn of her neck. Beyond the glass the starfield is dense and hard-edged, a bright band of dust and distant suns running diagonally across the view; the pane carries a faint greenish internal reflection of the ceiling strip and a soft bloom of her own silhouette faintly ghosted back at her. The only light is the cold white ceiling strip and the starlight passing through the composite: the rim of her tendrils, the top of her shoulderplate and the knuckles on the frame catch a thin pale edge, while her back and the deck behind her fall into deep shadow, and a long dim smudge of her cast shadow lies across the floor plating behind her heels. Palette held to cold blue, steel grey and pale white, with the warm nothing of deep space admitted only as pinpricks. The detail budget sits on the contact of her hand at the frame, the fall of her tendrils against her armor collar, and the layered stars behind the glass; the deck panels stay simple. Silent and vast.
