character: misty_(pokemon), ditto, ash_ketchum comic, 6+ panels, multiple views, transformation sequence, sequential art, two subjects, boy and girl, dark blob creature, slime, goo, slime girl, evil grin, smile, side ponytail, light hair, dark eyes, short shorts, suspenders, tank top, baseball cap, black hair, dark eyes, fingerless gloves, open jacket, character transformation, body horror, dripping, wet, looking at own body, talking, monochrome manga page, screentone, speed lines, panel borders A six-panel black-and-white manga page read left to right, top to bottom, in a 2x3 grid of crisp rectangular panels with thin black gutters; screentone and hatching throughout, no colour anywhere, every coloured fact translated to grayscale tone and texture. Panel 1: a medium shot from slightly below. A boy in a baseball cap and open short-sleeved jacket, fingerless gloves on both hands, stands with one hip cocked and one hand raised palm-out as he talks down at a small dark blob creature on the ground before him — the creature a lumpy amorphous mass with two solid black dot eyes and a wide simple mouth, no limbs, resting in a shallow puddle of its own sheen. The boy's mouth is open mid-word, brow lifted, looking at the creature; the creature's dot eyes angle up at his face. Clean white background, screentone shadow under both figures. Panel 2: the same pair, now viewed from the side and slightly above. The blob creature has lunged and spread itself over the boy — a glossy sheet of it clings across his shoulders, chest and cap, stretching his jacket out of shape, his arms pinned at his sides, only his face and the tips of his gloves still free, mouth open in a startled shout. Speed lines radiate from the point of impact; the goo's surface is rendered in slick high-contrast white highlights and dense halftone. Panel 3: a lower-body close-up cropped at the collarbone. The goo has climbed and the boy's legs and torso are caught mid-change — his shorts and jacket dissolving into the shape of short denim shorts held by suspenders over a tank top, the fabric edges still wavering and half-liquid, drips of goo running down the new hips. Motion lines and a cross-hatched distortion halo mark the shifting silhouette. Panel 4: a head-and-shoulders close-up. The boy's face and cap are melting away into a girl's face — a side ponytail of pale gray hair whipping out to one side where the cap's brim dissolves, dark eyes (rendered in flat gray) opening as the last of the boy's dark-eyed stare smears away. The goo strings off the chin and jaw. Heavy radial speed lines behind the head. Panel 5: a three-quarter shot from below, dutch-angled. The girl stands fully formed — light hair in a side ponytail (flat gray with white highlight), tank top, suspenders, short shorts — leaning forward with a wide evil grin, one eye narrowed, teeth bared, and thick strands of goo sliding off her shoulders, elbows and thighs in long dripping lines, pooling at her feet. Her gaze comes straight at the viewer. Spotting blacks behind her, screentone on the dripping goo. Panel 6: a full-body shot from a high angle. She stands looking down at herself, one hand lifting the hem of the tank top, the other pressed to her own hip, head tilted, expression caught between wonder and hunger, lashes lowered as her eyes travel down her own transformed body. Residual goo still clings in glossy patches to her skin, and a thin drip hangs from her wrist. Screentone floor, empty white background, quiet menace.
