The lamp above and behind the couch is the only light source; it rims Nejire's soles and María's hair and leaves the floor in shadow, but the sweat on María's skin and the wet sheen of the sock catch it brightly. Warm amber and cyan dominate — blue hair and cyan sock against flushed red skin and honeyed lamplight. The socks' damp patch darkens where María's fingers press it, and the couch cushion is crushed deep under Nejire's thrashing heel. Raucous, shameless.
