character: sans_(undertale), copyright: undertale 1boy, solo, skeleton, ((skeleton with bare white bones, broad toothy grin, blue hooded jacket, wet see-through white shirt clinging under it, black shorts, pink slippers)), from side, profile, standing, standing in the rain, rain, wet, wet clothes, beach, lake shore, lake, autumn forest, forest, autumn leaves, sunset, purple sky, red sky, dusk, twilight, nightfall, outdoors, hood down, hands in pockets, looking to the side, sideboob:0, male focus, cowboy shot, detailed background, cinematic lighting Seen in strict side profile: a single skeleton stands at the wet edge of a lake, facing left across the frame, the lake and the far forested ridge filling the left two-thirds of the image. His white skull is turned just past profile so the eye sockets read in three-quarter silhouette; the jaw is split in a broad, even toothy grin, teeth exposed along the whole line of the mouth, and a faint blue light glows deep in both eye sockets. The blue hooded jacket hangs open and heavy with water, its hood lying flat back on his shoulders; beneath the open jacket the white shirt is soaked translucent and plasters to the ladder of his ribs and spine, the wet fabric darkening to a bluish grey where it clings and transparent enough to show the bone beneath, the hem weighted down and dripping. Black shorts below it, the fabric darkened wet; pink slippers squelch into the packed wet sand, water welling up around the soles and running in thin channels back toward the lake; one hand is pushed into a jacket pocket, taking his weight on the near foot with the far hip dropped, the other arm hanging slack, rain running off the knuckles. Long hair-fine streaks of rain cross him diagonally from upper right to lower left; droplets bead and sag on the jacket's shoulder seam and roll down the ridge of his skull, and the wet shirt is stuck to him where the rain lands. The lake's surface is a wind-ruffled sheet of dull rose and violet, broken into small dark chop, brighter toward the horizon where the last light sits. Behind and around him an autumn forest lines the shore: bare-limbed trunks and low branches hung with soaked copper, rust and ochre leaves, most of them stripped and plastered flat to the wet ground and to the dark driftwood at the waterline; a few leaves have stuck to the damp bone of his shoulder and to the wet shoulder of the jacket. The sun has already gone down behind the ridge: the sky runs a deep saturated violet overhead down to a band of smouldering red and last amber at the treeline on the far shore, and the whole scene is sliding into night, the shadows in the forest going blue-black first. Light comes from that low afterglow on the horizon at frame left, rimming the left edge of his skull, the curve of the jacket collar and the top of the far shoulder in red-violet, leaving his right side and the underside of his jaw in cool blue shadow; the lake throws a weak, soft, darker reflection back up onto the wet shirt. No other figures; the beach is empty in both directions, his slipper prints trailing off behind him and filling with water. The palette holds to wet black, blue and white bone against rose, violet and ember red, with the copper of the autumn leaves and the small hot pink of the slippers as the only warm interruptions. Quiet, wry, rain-soaked.
