character: megara_(disney) 1girl, solo, megara, brown hair, long hair, high ponytail, swept bangs, purple eyes, eyeliner, lingerie, lace babydoll, sheer black lace, garter straps, thighhighs, bare shoulders, collarbone, lying on bed, on back, propped on elbows, one knee raised, head tilted back, looking down at viewer, half-closed eyes, smug, lopsided smirk, raised eyebrow, from above, foreshortening, close-up, bed, rumpled white sheets, pillows, seen from directly overhead, the camera looks straight down on her from above the bed, so the pale rumpled sheets fill the whole frame and everything else is cropped away. She lies diagonally across the mattress rather than square to the edge: her shoulders and upper back pressed into the pillows at the top of the frame, weight sunk into them, both elbows planted in the sheet for support, one knee drawn up so the bent leg crosses in front of the other and the lace hem of the babydoll rucks and folds along the crease of her hip. Her high ponytail is thrown across one pillow, the swept bangs falling back off her forehead, a few loose strands stuck flat to the sheet where her head has pressed them; her chin is tipped back and her eyes come down the line of her own body to the viewer, one brow arched above the other, the corners of her mouth pulled up unevenly, a closed-lipped smirk that is entirely sure of itself. Both hands are free of any prop, one arm folded under her head, the fingers of the other splayed and gripping a fistful of sheet beside her raised knee, the knuckles pulling the cotton into taut radials around the grip. The lingerie is black sheer lace with a scalloped edge that sits slightly away from the skin over her ribs and lies flat where her back meets the pillow; the garter straps cut straight lines over her thighs, and her thighhighs end in a band that presses a shallow line into each leg. Light comes from one warm lamp low on the left of the frame, so the lit side of her face and the tops of her shoulders and the upward-facing planes of the sheets glow warm, while her jaw, the underside of her chin and the hollow of the sheets beside her hip fall into deep shadow, and the garter straps throw thin dark slivers of shadow onto her legs in the direction the lamp pushes them. Palette is committed to the pop register: hot magenta and electric violet in the lace and in the sheets' reflected shadows, saturated cyan in the cool rim on the far side of her arms and ponytail, acid yellow climbing the warm edge of the lamp light, all against high-contrast complementary shadow, nothing muted anywhere. Detail budget goes to the lace texture, the grip of her fingers in the fabric, the fold lines running off her knee, and the loose hair on the pillow; the far end of the bed drops off into soft shadow. Effortlessly smug, warm and commanding.
