Almost all of my work here is based an Original Story I am writing called the Rubric Maxim. The story is a based in a low fantasy setting equivalent to early 20th century Europe. My elevator pitch is that it's His Dark Materials meets Stranger Things and Downton Abbey. I've been working on the story for over 15 years, so I wouldn't say those things inspired it, but serve as useable way to explain it. It originally started as a roleplaying game I played pretty consistently from 2011 to 2019, so I have a lot of material from which to draw. I'm currently writing it as a sort of hybrid between a book and a stage play, but my ultimate plan is to turn it into a graphic novel. Or the graphic novel equivalent of a web comic. I have exactly zero artistic talent, so I've always wanted to work with a collaborator to bring it to life. But it's interesting to explore the possibility of doing it with AI.
