The camera looks down from above at a mild dutch angle onto a sunlit kindergarten classroom play corner that opens out through a wide glass door onto a green park lawn, so the indoor playmat and the outdoor grass both sit in the frame behind the two girls. Iroha sits cross-legged on the padded playmat in the foreground right of frame, her very long wavy red hair fanned out across the mat behind her hips, the long strands of hair between her eyes falling over the bridge of her nose, her grey eyes with narrow slit pupils angled down and to her left toward the smaller girl in her lap; she wears a kindergarten smock over a white shirt with short puffy sleeves that balloon at the shoulder and gather just above her elbow, and a red necktie knotted at her collar and hanging down her chest. Baby Ibuki is tucked into Iroha's lap, her body turned in toward Iroha's torso, her face pressed flat against the front of Iroha's chest so that only the side of her cheek, one pointy ear, the curve of her blonde-to-yellow gradient long hair in its side ponytail with a bow, and the yellow plastic ring of the pacifier at the corner of her mouth are visible; her small hands curl into the fabric of Iroha's smock at the ribs. Iroha's arms wrap around Ibuki's back and bottom, one palm flat between the shoulder blades, the other forearm supporting the weight under the hips. Around Ibuki's waist and between her legs sits an oversized colorful diaper, far too large for her, its printed pattern of pastel stars and dots stretched taut and glossy, the padding swollen thick and heavy and sagging low between her thighs with the front panel visibly darkened and bloated from the pee held inside; the elastic leg cuffs and waistband are sealed snug against her skin so the diaper is fully contained, nothing dripping, nothing leaking past the gathers, the mat beneath her dry and clean. A scatter of soft blocks, a plush rabbit and a picture book lie on the mat around Iroha's knees, and beyond the open glass door the park's grass, low hedge and a bench are visible in the bright background. Warm late-morning daylight floods in from the doorway and the tall windows behind the pair, rimming the tops of both heads and the puffy sleeves in a pale warm edge while their fronts fall into soft gentle shade, and their two shadows merge into one short soft shape on the playmat. The palette is built from warm buttery yellow, cherry red, cream and pastel diaper print against the fresh green of the park beyond, with the swollen diaper's glossy surface catching the light. Tender, playful.
