Shot from above, looking down at an angle across the bedroom so the whole girl reads full-body on the mattress. She lies on her stomach diagonally across a rumpled bed, hips rolled onto one side, knees bent and ankles crossed in the air behind her, her weight carried on her forearms and stomach; her chest is propped up on a pillow tucked under it. A long fall of pink hair spills over the pillow's edge and off the mattress in loose strands, some of it caught under her elbow. She wears a short-sleeved pink cotton shirt and a matching pleated pink mini-skirt whose pleats splay and flatten under her hips against the sheet. Fuzzy pink bunny ears rise from a band tucked into her hair, one ear flopped forward, the other upright and trembling slightly; a small round fluffy bunny tail pokes out at the top edge of the skirt above her raised calves. Rimless glasses sit on her nose, their lenses catching a thin bright streak from the console screen.
Both hands grip a Nintendo Switch held up off the mattress in front of her chin, thumbs on the sticks, the console's screen throwing a cool blue-white glow up under her face, across the lenses of her glasses and along the underside of her jaw. Her gaze is fixed down on the screen, brow faintly knit in concentration, lips slightly parted, one corner of her mouth pulled up.
Beside her, a black-furred Umbreon is curled into a tight sleeping ball on the far half of the bed, its ring-marked ears laid back, yellow bands on its legs and tail dimly luminous in the low light, red eyes shut, flank rising and falling slowly; the duvet dips in a soft hollow around its body. One of its ears twitches toward the sound of the buttons.
The console's glow is the nearest light; a warm bedside lamp on a nightstand at the left edge of the frame supplies a second, amber source that rims her hair and the pillow and leaves the far corner of the room in soft shadow. A window with pale curtains sits in the background, dim and cool, blinds showing faint horizontal bars. Palette held to candy pink against warm cream bedding, with the Umbreon's black and amber as the one dark anchor and the console's blue as the single cool accent.
The sheet creases radiate outward from where her elbows and knees press, and a shallow dent trails behind the sleeping Umbreon's flank; her hair's loose strands lie flat where they touch the mattress and lift where they hang free. Cozy, unhurried.
