Thick glossy tentacles pour in from every edge of the frame -- two coil twice around her waist and drag tight over the rip, one has her upper left arm wrapped back to the elbow, one is threaded up inside the sleeve of her dress and pushes a bulge through the fabric at her shoulder, hair-thin tips slide out through a tear at the collarbone, and one disappears up into the torn hem of the dress between her legs. The tentacles please her where they hold her; she is not fighting them anymore. Her head hangs forward and her eyes are downcast and half-lidded, lips parted on a shallow breath, tears cut tracks through the shine on her cheeks, mouth slack with strain. A small hand-drawn heart floats in a bubble just beside her temple, empty of any words. The only light is a cold blue-white from above and behind, which strikes the crown of her head, her shoulders and the upper curvature of every tentacle, and dies into a violet-black void beneath her; each tentacle casts a hard wet highlight along its top edge and a faint lavender bounce light onto the underside of her chin and the inside of the dress. The palette stays saturated anime -- deep purple, magenta-pink and a hot rim of violet -- against a black ground. Quiet ruin.
