Seen from a low worm's-eye angle with a slight dutch tilt, a single small anthro cat-creature with long rabbit-like ears stands tiptoed on one paw at the crumbling grassy lip of a floating island, the other leg lifted and bent back in mid-hop. Its blue cap perches on its head with the brim tilted off-axis to the camera, the long ears swept sideways by updraft, pastel grey downy fur catching the light. A red collar sits at the throat and a yellow scarf bellies outward away from the body, its end flicking into an S above the drop; blue pants with a soft cuff hug the hips, and gloves close around the rim of a wooden wind ring. One arm is thrust up high, the ring gripped so its hoop faces the sky, the other hand steadying it from below. Its yellow eyes are turned up to the hovering ring and the enormous sky beyond, mouth open in a delighted little gasp. Around it a dream world of floating islands stacks into the distance at different heights, each capped with grass, pale rock and tiny twisted trees, some trailing fallen roots and waterfalls that dissolve into mist beneath them. The islands occlude one another cleanly; the nearest hangs in the foreground bottom corner slightly out of focus while the creature stands on the midground shelf. A sky of pale pink, lavender and mint stretches behind, edited only by curling pastel clouds. Soft light pours from the upper-left through a high diffuse glow, so the cap's top and the ring's upper edge are the warmest and brightest surfaces, the creature's front falls in gently cooling shade, and its shadow casts long and soft across the grass toward the lower-right. Palette strict to pastels: blue in the cap and pants, yellow in scarf and eyes, red only at the collar, everything else in mint, lavender, cream and blush. Watercolor texture with visible paper tooth, soft bleeding edges and blooms, over a storybook-illustration layout. Wind is made visible through the scarf's snap, the ears' sweep, a few lifted petals drifting off the island edge and the ring's pale hum. Serene, buoyant wonder.
