A three-panel manga page, read top to bottom, drawn in an anime style with strong line art softened by watercolour washes, colours blending softly into their surroundings, strong atmospheric perspective with soft haze and depth. One girl appears in every panel: very long loose white hair falling free past her hips, its ends steeped in a green gradient, long strands drifting across her shoulders, aqua eyes. She wears a single dark-navy school one-piece swimsuit, the swimsuit's chest printed with her name in white block letters that curve with the fabric over her bust. Nothing else is added to her: no hair ornament, no tie, no accessory anywhere on her.
Panel 1, the largest, filling the upper two-thirds: a high-angle shot from directly above, the viewer's own downward line of sight dropping onto the tiled poolside walkway of a school pool. She stands in the centre of that walkway on her left foot, right heel lifted, her whole torso twisted and her chin snapped up toward the camera, the surprise in her face fully visible from above -- brows lifted high, eyes wide and round, lips parted in a small open O, one shoulder hitched higher than the other. Her wet white hair fans out over the tiles around her feet where it has slipped from her shoulders. Pale grey-blue tiles run in receding rows to a still turquoise water surface at the top of the frame, faint steam-like haze dissolving the far edge of the pool into the background, reflections darker and softer than the pool itself. Cool daylight from a high open sky above and behind the viewer strikes the tops of her shoulders, collarbones and the crown of her head, and throws her small shadow tightly beneath her feet; the walkway's wet film holds a soft broken reflection of her legs.
Panel 2, a narrow horizontal band beneath it: a close-up of her face filling the panel, now framed by two high twin tails of the same white-to-green hair, tight at the crown and falling away out of frame on both sides, long strands between her eyes. Her aqua eyes look slightly off to the side, past the lens, mouth closed into a small uncertain line, one brow arched. The background behind her head is only soft green-white blur, haze swallowing any detail.
Panel 3, a small panel tucked into the bottom-right corner of the page, the lower-left of the page left as empty white paper: seen from below at hip height, her right hand hooks a finger under the hem of the swimsuit at her right hip, pulling the fabric up and outward into a taut diagonal fold while the elastic snaps back against her skin; her left hand rests flat on her opposite hip. Her hip and thigh dominate the frame, water beading and running down the fabric, hair hanging in front of her leg. Shading is done in screentone and hatching, panel borders in clean black rules, quiet and playful.
