It's that or 28,000 credits, your decision] A rental truck drives down the highway just as the sun struggles to rise. This is no ordinary rental truck. It is actually a transport truck used by The Federal Investigators. Inside the truck, the Federal Investigator Team Leader is addressing his three agents and the two "military" personnel riding along. "Ok team, please consult your paperwork...excuse me? Are you two not going to read along with us?" One soldier scoffs and rolls his eyes while the other turns to address the Team Leader. "We see no need. We've done threat neutralization and hostage rescue in the past. Besides, we read over the mission briefing on our way to meet up with you and your men. We'll follow along as you speak." The Team Leader and the Investigators try their best to hide their displeasure. The Team Leader continues on with his overview. "Ok, so the situation we're looking at is that the two men and the small girl are currently in one of the ground floor motel rooms. Hopefully we can do a raid on their room while they're sleeping, but we do have a contingency if they are awake. Please review that plan on page 3. The two men are believed to be armed, as they still had their military gear on them when they went rogue. If they are armed, Supervisor Revok has authorized our two friends here to use lethal force. Boss said we need to keep the use of lethal force and public exposure to the arrest/takedown down to a minimum, so no cowboy sh_t out there." The Team Leader turns to the two soldiers "I take it you were given similar orders?" The two soldiers take delight in the contempt in the Team Leader's voice. One of them turns to him and speaks. "Yes, yes, of course. Arrest/Drop the tangos, rescue the hostage. Regular Scenario 17 out of the Rapid Response manual. We've done it several time." The two soldiers chuckle to themselves while the Investigators hold their tongues and do their best to hide their contempt.
