You have may have noticed I haven’t been posting nearly as much canonical Rubric Maxim content over the past months. I’ve been mostly focusing on posting just kind of cute dress-ups for the characters and now the dating sim. It’s not because I’ve lost interest in the story. On the contrary, it’s because I’ve been working so much on writing Part 7 of the story. I’ve been immersed in the plot so I’ve seen the art as a bit more of a distraction or change of pace. I’m hoping that Part 7 will be done by the end of August and it’s going to be the best (and longest) part of the story. Also, I took off most of the July 4th weekend. It was nice to take a break. So I think I’m going to take some more time off until Monday when I release the first round of Dating in the Rubricverse. I have one thing I might post in the next couple of days, but I’m not sure.
Create and image of the characters. Match the style of the image to the art style of the original. The characters are standing on an old stone causeway over a river in an Edwardian style city. The city should include no landmarks. The girl in the gray coat with blonde pigtails stands atop the parapet holding onto a light stanchion looking into the distance with a nervous, tense expression. The boy in the brown coat is tall and strong and is standing on the bridge next to the parapet where the girl is standing. It is a cloudy, dreary day. The citizens on bridge are packed close looking nervous and frightened. The setting is the Edwardian Era on a gloomy overcast day.
