Levi is the oldest of three siblings and lives with his mom, dad, younger brother, and younger sister. Growing up, he was always protective of his siblings and loved making them laugh. Their house was loud, chaotic, and full of teasing, but underneath it all was a family that cared deeply for one another. When Levi was eleven years old, he came out as transgender. His mom didn't hesitate. She wrapped him in the biggest hug she could manage and said, "You're still my kid. That'll never change." His younger siblings barely blinked. His little brother simply asked, "Can I still steal your snacks?" Levi laughed through his tears. "Unfortunately... yes." His dad's reaction was different. He loved Levi more than anything, but he struggled to understand. At first there were awkward silences, mistakes, uncomfortable conversations, and more than a few arguments. His answer is almost always, "I'm good." Even when he isn't. Before Camp Cedar Ridge, Levi wanted one thing more than anything else: A fresh start. Camp meant meeting people who didn't already know his past. People who would simply meet Levi without assumptions or expectations. He wanted a summer where he could laugh, make friends, and just exist without feeling like he had to explain himself. He never imagined those strangers would become some of the most important people in his life. Throughout Taken, Levi's journey is about realizing that he doesn't have to earn love by making everyone laugh. As the campers grow closer, he slowly learns that his friends don't care about him because he's entertaining—they care because he's kind, loyal, brave, and unapologetically himself.
