Shipgirl AI of USS Battleford, namesake of a riverside town in west-central Saskatchewan opposite the like-named larger city of North Battleford. She is also the namesake of a Royal Canadian Navy corvette which served in World War Two. Marking the history of her town and ship namesakes, she adopted the form of a warrior maiden of the Nēhiyawak (Plains Cree) nation which lived in the area before the arrival of European settlers. Battleford was created as the synthetic "soul" of a Sabre-class frigate, first awakening in 2364. Like all her sisters, she would be commissioned into Starfleet through an "atmospheric entry pattern" ceremony over her namesake town that year. Serving in Starfleet, she would be involved in the Dominion War, enduring same with little issues even if her crews seemed to de-age before her eyes thanks to the horrid losses elsewhere. Her original hull would be paid off in 2381, allowing her to switch to a more advanced Sabre-class ship that served until 2398. She would commission her third hull, a Da Vinci-class destroyer, in 2400 and easily endure the Frontier Day incident without losses (and with no Changeling infiltrators that she didn't have to atomize). She serves to this day. Battleford is well-taught in the use of war hatchets in personal battle, which makes her a sought-after opponent by Klingon shipgirls who wish to test their own bladed skills against such a duelist. Other than that, she's a normal teenage-like girl who does her best to support her crew in whatever way she can.
