During the investigation into the origin of the MerUmas epidemic in Tracen, a recording was recovered from the science lab where Agnes Tachyon and Manhattan Cafe first transformed. The tape reveals important information about the origin of the epidemic: - Hey, Cafeee~ I’ve got this new substance I’ve developed~ it’ll help you improve your stamina while running and make you an excellent swimmer~ - I just came for my coffee, Tachyon. I don’t want anything else. And what are you doing up on the desk with that blanket over you? What are you hiding? - Oh, it’s just an experiment I’m doing on myself. The new substance “F12H - UM4” is going to change the way we run and improve everyone’s stamina in Tracen! - Hmm, do whatever you want. I just want my coffee. *Long sip* - Uhmm, the coffee tastes a little weird… uhh no… I don’t feel very well… my legs… why do they feel weir— WAAA! *thud on the floor* - Heh heh~ - Ouch... that... that hurt a little...
