USS Dauphin
Shipgirl AI of USS Dauphin, named after a town in west-central Manitoba...and ultimately named after the position title for the heir apparent to the throne of France in the days of the Ancien Régieme. Of course, she is also named after a corvette of the Royal Canadian Navy which served in World War Two. Naturally, when she was first woken in 2363, she took on the look of the classic French blonde beauty, something she kills quite easily even when she wears her normal uniform. Created as the synthetic "soul" of a Sabre-class frigate, Dauphin would serve in that hull through the Dominion War, coming out of it intact but with a de-aged crew as many of her sisters would experience in those two hectic years in and around Bajor. Being paid off in 2378, she would inherit an improved Sabre-class frigate two years later, one that would last her two decades before the chance to exchange to a Da Vinci-class destroyer came up. She was at Port Weller's works over Luna Orionis when the Frontier Day disaster fell on Starfleet; like many of her sisters and fellow adopted Canadians there at the time, she activated her new hull and went out to help. She is a typically refined adopted native of Paris transplanted to the Manitoba prairie...and a lot of people are comfortable with that.
