He doesn't stand symmetrically; one shoulder sits a fraction higher than the other, and his gait favors a side. Nothing about him is corrected, and the design never quietly fixes that. Surface. No armor plating in the traditional sense — his "armor" is what Consecration left behind: sections of scorched, cracked, porcelain-white bonelike material fused directly over dark, weathered skin, patterned like the crazing on old church statuary. Where the porcelain has broken away entirely, what's underneath isn't wound but a dense, matte, faintly starless void-black — a hole in the material of the world that never got patched. He is, quite literally, wearing his own failed sainthood, and it's coming apart. Wings. One. Not two, not none — a single, oversized, black-feathered wing going to bare iron quill near the tip, held permanently half-furled because the socket where its twin should be is instead a smooth, sealed scar shaped unmistakably like a wing that never grew back.
