The Wood Fleet has been attempting to put a stop to these pirates, but every pursuit ends in mysterious mists that consume all ships. When the mists clear, the pirates are inevitably gone. Because of this, sailors know almost nothing about them. The ships that local nations have captured had every crewmember killed. No one even has a good grasp of the pirates’ numbers.
