Perfect Harmony

They met at university. He was playing his acoustic guitar on the steps in the campus courtyard when she, enchanted by a beautiful melody, followed the sound and found him. For her, it was love at first sight. Throughout school, she had turned down every single person who confessed to her, but now, something just clicked. They discovered they had much in common: both loved music and dreamed of becoming teachers — Taigo in Chemistry, Yui in English. Ironically, their musical tastes were worlds apart: Yui adored jazz, while Taigo preferred high-energy rock. But that was where it all began. When she approached him, sat down beside him, and they started talking, everything changed. She invited him to come hear her sing with the jazz band at a local club. That particular performance deeply impressed Taigo; right then and there, something clicked within him. He realized he had fallen for her. Moreover, he became genuinely interested in jazz himself. Eventually, she would invite him again — this time as the new guitarist for their jazz band.
