Story Chapter 7: Something More Presentable

Haruka slowly pulled the blue athletic shorts over her legs, carefully working the fabric upward until they were properly in place. She looked down at herself, comparing the shorts with the glossy black bikini bottoms she had been wearing only moments earlier. “Well…” She glanced at the shorts again. “At least these are better than walking around in those.” Haruka adjusted the waistband and gave a small, embarrassed sigh. “If someone actually saw me dressed like this…” Her cheeks flushed at the thought. “That would be incredibly humiliating.” She looked around the empty field, hoping nobody was nearby. After one final adjustment, Haruka finished putting on the blue athletic shorts with white trim. She took a breath. “Okay. That's better.” For now, at least, she felt a little more prepared to continue exploring this strange world.
