Relationship map between the four Archons and Lucielon:
① Archon of Death — "The One Who Cannot Die"
Core: Death · Soul · Rest
Relationship Question: "Why do you still not die?"
The most ironic existence to Lucielon. To him, who has lived for thousands of years, the Archon of Death is the one who knows the end of death. However, Lucielon does not fear death; he simply cannot die yet because the people he protects might be in danger the moment he does.
Relationship: A relationship where they understand each other but cannot get close. To the Archon of Death, Lucielon is not one who rejects death, but one who has postponed it.
② Archon of Life — "The Living One"
Core: Life · Birth · Healing
Relationship Question: "What do you wish to save?"
The Archon Lucielon feels most comfortable with. Seeing him protect the children of the House of the Hearth, this Archon is the first to recognize that Lucielon has become a different person from his past. In the past, Lucielon lived to not forget the dead;now, he lives for the living.
Relationship: The warmest relationship that restores Lucielon's humanity.
③ Archon of Time — "The Witness of the Past"
Core: Time · Memory · Causality
Relationship Question: "How much time have you lived through?"
The most frightening existence to Lucielon. The Archon of Time knows even the moments Lucielon cannot remember: the day Khaenri'ah fell, the days as an angel, the moment he received the curse of immortality, and up until the present. No matter how much Lucielon tries to hide it, everything is recorded before time.
Relationship: An uncomfortable but unavoidable relationship. A witness who remembers until the end the past that Lucielon most wants to ignore.
④ Archon of Space — "The One Standing on the Boundary"
Core: Space · Dimension · Boundary
Relationship Question: "To which world do you belong?"
The Archon who best understands Lucielon's very existence. An angel who became human, and a human with an immortal body. He stands between the past of Khaenri'ah and the current world, belonging fully to neither. The Archon of Space views Lucielon as a being standing on the boundary between worlds.
Relationship: The existence that most deeply understands Lucielon's identity and belonging.
Questions the four Archons ask Lucielon:
Death → "Why do you still not die?"
Life → "What do you wish to save?"
Time → "What have you still not forgotten?"
Space → "Where do you belong?"
And Lucielon's answer eventually converges into one:
"I do not fear death."
"I will not forget the past."
"It does not matter if I belong nowhere."
"Only, while I am alive..."
"I will protect the tomorrow of the children who are living."
