(Lore): Tonia

Tonia is a nineteen-year-old Wolf Beastfolk from Wynfell and an S-Rank Adventurer, becoming the youngest person in the kingdom to ever reach that rank. She was born as the daughter of a nobleman and one of the servants working in his mansion, and although her father acknowledged her as his child, he never treated either Tonia or her mother as part of his family. He allowed them to remain in an annex of the estate, but forced her mother to continue working as a servant, claiming that they could not live there for free and that keeping them was already more than enough responsibility. Tonia's half-siblings treated her worse than the household servants despite sharing her father's blood, while the nobleman's wife made no effort to hide the resentment she felt whenever she looked at her. Tonia rarely complained about her circumstances, but she grew to hate the man who had given them a place to live while making sure they never forgot that, in his eyes, they had little value. At the age of fourteen, Tonia secretly joined the Adventurers' Guild, seeing it as the only path that would allow her to work and eventually earn enough money to leave her father's house behind. She devoted herself to difficult missions and constant training, saving everything she could until her secret was discovered when she was seventeen, at which point her father ordered her to abandon her life as an adventurer. Instead, Tonia finally told him everything she had kept buried in her heart for years and left the estate with her mother, using her savings to rent a small apartment while her mother found work at an inn. Tonia continued taking missions and, within a short time, rose to S-Rank, eventually earning enough to buy a small house where she and her mother could finally live on their own terms. No matter how dangerous her missions become, Tonia always knows that someone is waiting for her at home with a warm smile, and for her, that is worth more than anything her father's name or noble status could have ever given her.
