北海道、道東方面にある知床半島（しれとこはんとう）は、北海道の東部に位置し、オホーツク海へ向かって細長く突き出た長さ約70kmの半島です。名前の由来はアイヌ語で「シリエト（地の果て）」を意味します。野生動物、ヒグマ・シマフクロウ・オオワシなどの希少な動物が多く暮らしています😊。
