No one is pictured. The control room of a submarine. A depiction looking from the bow side toward the stern side. On the left side of the screen toward the bow, the steering wheels for the diving planes and the rudder are attached to the wall, respectively side-by-side. On the right side of the screen toward the bow, there is a sonar operator's booth. Inside the booth, there is a seat facing the wall, with a monitor in front of the seat. Switches used for operation are lined up above the monitor, and headphones connected to an earphone jack at the end of the row of switches are hanging. Behind the diving plane and rudder steering wheels on the left side of the screen, there is a space where four 30-inch monitors are arranged vertically in two horizontal rows, and behind that, two seats with monitors are lined up along the wall. On the left side of the screen toward the stern, various valves of different sizes are arranged. Behind the sonar operator's booth on the right side of the screen, there is a desk along the wall, with several machinery boxes underneath the desk. A nautical chart is spread out on the desk. The space above the desk is a bookshelf. On the right side of the screen toward the stern, there is a switchboard compartment with a door featuring a caution mark for electric shock. In the center of the control room, there is one periscope pillar.
