Starter Motivation Enhancement Program

A Joint Initiative by Okido Laboratory and Team Rocket Applied Biosystems Division In response to declining enthusiasm among first-time Trainers, Okido Laboratory has entered into a limited cooperative framework with Team Rocket to modernize the traditional starter distribution model. Building upon legacy research into human–Pokémon hybridization—an area long considered controversial, yet undeniably promising—the two organizations have developed a new line of humanoid starter companions intended to improve emotional engagement, long-term field compliance, and overall badge acquisition rates. Under the revised program, any Trainer officially registered to undertake the standard eight-Gym regional challenge will be eligible to receive one of three capsule-contained hybrid starter units, selected from a balanced introductory roster. Each unit preserves the defining biological traits of its original species while incorporating an optimized humanoid morphology for improved communication, loyalty bonding, and market appeal. Internal testing suggests that novice Trainers demonstrate significantly higher motivation when informed that successful participation in the journey may involve traveling across the region in the company of a personalized monster-girl waifu starter stored in a regulation Poké Ball. Okido Laboratory stresses that this program is intended to support youth development, scientific progress, and healthy Trainer–Pokémon relations.
