Her chin-length chestnut-brown hair whips wildly in the wind, held partially back by a small white hair clip pinned at her right temple. Her amber-brown eyes are locked dead ahead in fierce, unyielding concentration on the track ahead, her brows pulled together with competitive fire, and her lips parted slightly as she exhales in rhythm with her stride. Her torso drives forward aggressively; her right knee punches upward into the air while her trailing left foot pushes forcefully against the textured terracotta-red polyurethane surface, the rubber sole flexing as it kicks a tiny spray of black track granules backward into the air. Her arms are bent at sharp ninety-degree angles, fists clenched tightly as she powers through the sprint. She wears a designated school athletic uniform consisting of a white short-sleeved crew-neck gym shirt bordered with crimson-red ribbed trim at the collar and cuffs, paired with matching deep crimson elastic gym bloomers fitted snugly around her thighs. White ankle-height socks tuck into laced running shoes gripping the white lane line. Behind her in the soft-focus midground, fellow student competitors in matching white-and-crimson gym uniforms pump their arms in fierce pursuit along adjacent lanes. The wide background reveals a bustling festival stadium lined with packed bleachers, fluttering triangular pennant strings, and towering steel light gantries beneath a brilliant azure sky filled with rolling white summer thunderheads. Hard midday sunlight casts razor-sharp shadows directly beneath her churning strides, highlighting sweat sheening on her collarbones and creating a brilliant rim of light along her shoulders and hair. Electric competitive thrill.
