A cheerful, pleasantly plump girl with sunny blonde hair—styled into short twin tails accented by neat braids, a bouncing ahoge atop her crown, and bangs framing vermilion red eyes—leaps energetically mid-cheer. A bright yellow ring halo hovers steadily above her head. She wears a classic cheerleader uniform featuring a snug sleeveless cropped cheer top, fingerless athletic wrist gloves, and a crisp white pleated miniskirt that flares outward from her hips, exposing her soft midriff. Her hands firmly grip the central dowels of fluffy red and white pom-poms; she thrusts her right pom-pom high into the air while her left arm sweeps outward to stabilize her balance. Her right knee is hitched high in an exuberant hop above a terracotta running track, with chalk boundary lines receding behind her under a bright sky. She directs her gaze straight at the viewer, winking one eye shut while her open eye beams with excitement, her mouth opened wide in a spirited cheer with painted pink flush lines across her cheeks. Strong midday sun from the upper left casts crisp, sharp-edged two-tone cel shadows beneath her chin, under the skirt pleats, and across her waist. Responding to the abrupt upward swing of her arms, the light plastic foil ribbons of the pom-poms flare radially outward against the air, their reflective edges catching hard specular glints. The rendering features clean dark ink contours, opaque cel fills, rich primary pigments, and a warm analog film grain beneath a deep cerulean sky with hand-drawn clouds. Ebullient nostalgic energy.
