From a low dutch angle with extreme perspective foreshortening, a young woman leans violently forward into the frame with an unhinged, manic presence. Her long chestnut-brown hair spills from a messy, low ponytail, with jagged asymmetrical bangs falling erratically across her forehead. Her left eye is sewn tightly shut by coarse, black surgical stitches that pierce the eyelid and pull the puckered flesh taut, dark crimson blood weeping from every puncture and trickling in sluggish rivulets down her cheek. Her right eye is stretched unnaturally wide, its glowing ruby-red iris bearing a pinpoint pupil locked in an intense, crazed stare directly at the viewer. Her mouth is pulled into a wide, jaw-straining insane grin, exposing bared teeth and gums in an erratic, breathless grimace. Her torso hunches forward as she thrusts one arm directly toward the lens, her hand massively foreshortened with curled, grasping fingers reaching out, thick smears of dark red blood coating her palm and knuckles. Her opposite hand is curled into a tight fist braced against her waist. She is dressed in a heavy, full-length black distressed leather coat wrapped across the chest and torso with dense, horizontal buckled straps and weathered industrial clasps, framed by a high, stiff collar. Splotches of wet and dried blood stain the dark leather and metallic hardware. A single harsh, cool white overhead light source cuts through the deep surrounding gloom, casting sharp specular glints across her reaching fingertips, wet teeth, and the glossy surface of the blood, while burying the underside of her jaw and the heavy folds of her coat in pitch-black cast shadows. A single heavy bead of viscous blood clings to the lowest suture of her stitched eyelid, stretching under gravity before dropping onto the raised leather collar below. Visceral terror.
