From a slightly elevated angle looking down into an outdoor stone-lined hot spring, three young women bathe together amidst thick swirls of rising vapor. At the center, a petite girl with deep blue hair braided into twin plaits rests submerged up to her collarbone, balancing a small folded white hand towel atop her head while her hands rest lightly beneath the translucent water surface, her blue eyes gazing quietly with relaxed, half-lidded contentment and faint pink across her cheeks. To her right, a tall young woman with voluminous crimson hair held back by a plain black hairband leans back against a moss-dappled granite boulder, propping one bare sun-warmed arm along the dry rock rim; her thick eyebrows lift in a spirited pout and her ruby eyes look sideways through the mist, fine condensation beading along her exposed shoulders and throat. Leaning in from the opposite ledge, a slender girl with pale pointed elven ears and neatly cropped light hair rests both forearms against the smooth submerged pool bench, her ears tinted rose from the warmth as her red eyes crinkle in an affectionate, gentle smile directed toward the other two. The thermal pool reflects the soft golden glow of a nearby standing stone lantern, casting warm amber highlights across wet skin and the edges of a floating cedar wood washbasin, while cooler indigo twilight settles over the damp stones and bamboo foliage in the background. Thin trails of white steam coil upward and instantly disperse as they meet the crisp evening air, rippling the placid water where the women shift against the stone. Tender, serene, and playfully intimate.
