Our Little World Together - Vocaloid 神威がくぽx巡音ルカ

💜💗💜💗💜 Story 💗💜💗💜💗 After confirming that the tent was securely anchored to the ground, Gakupo and Luka did not immediately stop to rest. Instead, they began organizing the space around their tent. Luka stood in front of the tent, looking at what they had accomplished together. The camping equipment that had originally been packed away in bags had now become their temporary little home surrounded by nature. Just thinking about spending the entire holiday here filled her with excitement for everything that lay ahead. “Gakupo, are we setting up the canopy next?” She turned to look at Gakupo, who was organizing the tools nearby. “That’s right.” He placed the equipment bag aside and picked up another bag containing the canopy poles. “If we prepare the shaded area first, it’ll be much easier to organize our belongings and prepare meals later.” “And the sunlight will probably get pretty strong around noon, right? If we have somewhere shaded, we can sit outside and chat.” “That’s what I was thinking, too.” Gakupo looked around the campsite before choosing a flat area in front of their tent. It was far enough from the main walkway while still offering a lovely view of the mountains. Several folding chairs and a table would fit perfectly there. Luka followed him over and carefully examined the spot he had chosen. “If we put the table here and arrange the chairs on either side, we can enjoy the scenery while eating.” “Mm, but we should check the canopy's coverage first. Otherwise, we might have to move everything again after setting up the furniture.” “Leave it to me! I'll help you measure.” She immediately picked up a measuring tape and began measuring the intended area according to Gakupo's instructions. Meanwhile, Gakupo took out the canopy fabric and poles, arranging them neatly on the grass and checking that none of the necessary pieces were missing. Before long, the two fell into a comfortable rhythm of teamwork. Gakupo assembled the poles while Luka sorted the support rods according to their lengths and handed him the pieces he needed. Whenever a connection proved difficult to secure, he would pause and examine it with her to make sure they were assembling everything correctly. “Should this pole go on the other side?” Luka picked up a support rod and studied the instructions for a while. Gakupo walked over and examined it. “I think it goes here. Look, the connectors have slightly different shapes.” “Oh, you're right! I almost put it in the wrong place.” “Good thing we checked first.” “See? That's why working together is more reliable!” She smiled proudly as she handed him the pole, making Gakupo chuckle softly. “Looks like I've found myself an excellent camping partner.” “Only excellent?” Luka deliberately blinked at him, apparently waiting for a better compliment. Looking at her expectant expression, Gakupo did not answer immediately. Instead, he calmly finished connecting the poles. “Reliable, and very patient.” “Hmm... I'll accept that evaluation for now.” “For now?” “Because I think I deserve an even higher rating!” She burst into laughter, and Gakupo's lips curved into a smile as well. For him, doing things with Luka was always more enjoyable than doing them alone. Tasks that could otherwise be completed by simply following a set of instructions became filled with delightful little moments because of her spontaneous ideas and playful remarks. Once the frame was mostly assembled, they prepared to spread the canopy fabric over it. This step required both of them to work together so that the fabric could be lifted and secured properly. “Luka, hold this side while I take care of the other.” “Got it!” They stood at opposite ends of the canopy and lifted the fabric together. However, the wind had grown slightly stronger than before. As soon as they spread the fabric, a gust caught it and lifted it into the air. The once-flat canopy billowed like a sail. Luka quickly tightened her grip. “Gakupo! I think it's trying to fly away!” “Don't let go yet. We'll pull it back down together.” Gakupo steadied the frame while pulling the fabric downward. Luka followed his movements, gradually adjusting her position. They worked together to control the canopy while waiting for the wind to weaken. At last, they managed to flatten the fabric again. Luka couldn't help laughing. “I'm starting to suspect that today's wind has something against us.” “Perhaps it's testing our teamwork.” “Then it should have its answer by now, shouldn't it?” “I believe so.” Gakupo replied with a faint smile. Taking advantage of the calmer weather, they quickly secured the canopy to the frame. Gakupo checked each connection while Luka smoothed out the wrinkles in the fabric, ensuring that the entire shaded area was properly arranged. When the final fastening clip clicked into place, a broad patch of shade finally spread across the area in front of their tent. Luka stepped back a few paces and looked up at the completed canopy, her eyes filled with satisfaction. “It's done!” Her voice brimmed with unmistakable delight. Gakupo stood beside her and inspected the structure to make sure it was stable. “Looks good. All the poles are secured. We just need to check the guy lines around the edges.” “Let's check them together.” They walked around the canopy, inspecting each anchoring point one by one. Luka had initially worried that her lack of experience might slow them down, but from assembling the tent to setting up the canopy, she had discovered that many things were not nearly as difficult as she had imagined when she worked alongside Gakupo. Whenever she encountered a problem, he patiently explained what to do. He also entrusted her with tasks she could handle herself, allowing her to participate in the entire process rather than simply standing aside and watching him work. She loved that feeling. After confirming that everything was secure, Gakupo began carrying the folding table beneath the canopy. “Let me help!” Luka immediately joined him, and together they lifted the table. It was a little heavier than she had expected, but with each of them holding one end, they soon carried it to the right spot. Next, they unfolded the camping chairs one by one and arranged them neatly around the table. Luka placed two chairs side by side in a spot with a particularly lovely view of the mountains. Gakupo noticed her arrangement and asked, “Why did you put these two together?” “Because we can sit here and enjoy the scenery!” She answered as though it were the most natural thing in the world. “And if we sit here to watch the stars tonight, it'll be really comfortable, too.” Gakupo followed her gaze toward the distant mountains. “Then we'll save these seats for us.” Hearing him say that, Luka smiled warmly. “Promise?” “Promise.” They continued by moving the storage boxes and other camping supplies beneath the canopy, arranging everything according to how frequently they would need it. They placed the drinking water at one end of the table and stored the remaining supplies in containers that would be easy to access, making the entire area look neat and organized. Luka then took a small tablecloth out of her backpack and carefully spread it across the tabletop. Watching her, Gakupo raised an eyebrow slightly. “You even brought that?” “Of course! If we're going to spend the whole day here, we should make the place look comfortable.” She straightened all four corners of the tablecloth before stepping back to admire her work. “Well? Doesn't it make this feel even more like a proper camping trip?” “It certainly does.” “Good!” Luka sat down in one of the chairs, looking pleased with the result. She then patted the empty seat beside her. “Gakupo, come sit down for a while. We've been working for quite some time.” He put away the last piece of equipment before walking over and sitting beside her. The canopy shielded them from the direct sunlight, and whenever the breeze passed through, the surrounding leaves rustled softly. The distant stream continued to flow, while the occasional sound of other campers chatting added to the relaxed atmosphere. Luka leaned back in her chair and let out a long, contented sigh. “I didn't realize setting up the tent and arranging the shaded area would feel so rewarding.” “Because we built everything step by step.” Gakupo looked at the neatly arranged table and chairs before glancing at the tent nearby. “We started with nothing, and now we even have a place where we can sit back and relax.” “And every part of it is something we made together.” She turned to look at him, her voice becoming a little softer. “I really like this feeling.” Gakupo gazed quietly at her. “So do I.” He did not say much more, but the sincerity in his words made Luka feel at ease. She suddenly thought about how busy they usually were in their everyday lives. Even when they managed to meet, their time together was often brief. They would exchange a few words before returning to their separate responsibilities. But now, they did not have to rush anywhere or worry about unfinished work waiting for them. They could put up a tent together, arrange the table and chairs, and even scramble to keep the canopy from being blown away by the wind. Afterwards, they could sit side by side in the little space they had created with their own hands and enjoy the time they had together. The thought brought an even gentler smile to Luka's face. “Gakupo.” “Hmm?” “Thank you for coming camping with me.” He turned to meet her gaze. “You've already thanked me once.” “But I still want to say it again.” She tilted her head slightly, her voice carrying a hint of affection. “Because I'm really happy.” Gakupo looked at her, his expression gradually softening. “Then make the most of today.” He paused for a moment before adding, “As long as you're happy, this trip is worth it.” Luka did not answer immediately. She simply looked at him with a small, tender smile. After a moment, she nodded gently. “Mm. Let's enjoy every moment together.” The sunlight gradually climbed higher in the sky, and the shade beneath the canopy became even more comfortable. The two remained seated for a while longer, chatting about their plans for the rest of the day. Luka wanted to explore the nearby stream, while Gakupo suggested that they take a short break before preparing the things they would need for lunch. There was no packed schedule and no particular goal they had to accomplish. The shaded area they had built together became the first little resting place of their trip. And here, they still had plenty of time to share all the things they rarely had the chance to say during their busy everyday lives. For Gakupo and Luka, perhaps the most wonderful part of the trip was never just the scenery at the campsite. It was knowing that they could spend every moment that lay ahead in each other's company.
