立花宗茂の弓

弓術の名手と伝わる立花宗茂が朝鮮国において黒田長政の鉄砲と競って勝利した逸話のイメージです、この時的にされたのが笄という男用の髪を梳く小道具で刀の鞘などに納める箇所がある小物です。この絵では髪に刺して映っていますのでかなり困難な的であるイメージができると思います。宗茂の逸話などでは矢を放って射切るという記述が多く感じましたので戦国時代では現在の弓道的なものとはかなり異なり鏃の工夫で斬撃武器として用いる射術があったのかもしれませんちなみに宗茂は笄以外でも鶫（鴨とも）、ホオジロ、鬼灯の中の実などを的にして当てたり切ったりしたという逸話を読んだことがあります
