Forever and Always — A Summer in Askr

A peaceful summer day on the beaches of Askr. ☀️🏖️ Far away from battles, responsibilities, and the noise of everyday life, Joseph and Mercedes von Martritz enjoy a well-deserved vacation together. With the ocean breeze in their hair, delicious food, and nothing but love between them, sometimes the simplest moments become the most precious memories. **Joey:** "Do you love me?" **Mercedes:** "Forever and always." ❤️ *Just a rockstar and his beloved wife, enjoying their little paradise.* **Characters:** Mercedes von Martritz (Fire Emblem: Three Houses) & Joseph "Joey" von Martritz (OC). **Setting:** Kingdom of Askr (Fire Emblem Heroes).

character: mercedes_von_martritz_(summer) 1girl, 1boy, 2girls? no, 2 characters total, mercedes von martritz summer version, blonde long hair, hair over shoulder, black hair bow, straw sun hat, blue eyes, swimsuit, sarong with frills, jewelry, bracelet, painted nails, high heel sandals, flower, 1boy, dark blond medium hair, amber eyes, open hawaiian shirt, black shorts, sandals, tortoiseshell-framed glasses, orange lenses, beach, ocean, blue sky, clouds, day, food, outdoors, cel rendering, full body, from below, standing on one leg, leaning forward, looking at another, holding food, wind, hard-edged shadows, flat color bands, crisp outlines, From a low camera near the wet sand, so the two figures stand tall against the sky and the ocean horizon cuts low behind their hips, the girl and the boy face each other on a bright beach at midday. She is caught mid-step, weight on her left sandal with the right heel lifted and toes just touching down, hip cocked, torso turned three-quarters to him; both hands hold out a small paper tray of grilled skewers and cut fruit toward his chest, elbows slightly bent, and the skewer sticks press flat against her fingertips. Her long blonde hair sweeps over her right shoulder and falls across the front of her sarong in a single heavy mass, the black bow tied at the crown of her straw sun hat with its wide brim shading her forehead, its underside warm and honey-lit; a second small bow sits at the gathered side of the sarong. She wears a one-piece swimsuit under a sheer sarong knotted at her left hip, its hem ruffled in tiers of frills that lift and separate in the onshore wind; a thin gold bracelet slides down her right wrist, small gold studs at her ears, and a single frangipani tucked where the sarong ties. Her high-heeled strappy sandals sink two centimetres into the packed wet sand, a small fan of displaced grit just behind each heel, and her toenails are lacquered coral. Her blue eyes are on his face, chin lifted slightly under the brim, and the corner of her mouth pulls up on one side. The boy stands square in front of her, weight settled back on his right foot so his left hip pushes forward, both hands pushed into the pockets of his black shorts; his open Hawaiian shirt, large pale flowers on a deep ground, hangs loose off his shoulders and its hem flutters toward her. Dark blond medium hair is pushed back off his forehead by the wind and by the arms of his tortoiseshell-framed glasses, whose orange lenses tint the skin around his amber eyes warm amber and show a faint mirrored glint of the sky and of her hat brim. Leather sandals, water-dark at the toe straps. His amber eyes look down over the lens rims at the tray she holds, one eyebrow raised, and his shoulders are eased back, pleased. Behind them the ocean lies flat and blue-green to a clean horizon, a single line of white surf breaking well back from their feet; the blue sky above is broken by three soft cumulus clouds, the highest one brightest on its left edge where the sun strikes it. The sea is the only mirror: it reflects less light than the sky it reflects, darker and softer. The sun is high and to camera-left, one hard source, throwing crisp short shadows toward camera-right from both figures and a long thin shadow from her straw brim across her cheek; the sand is pale and blown with dry ripples where no foot has fallen, and the light bands across skin in flat cel-shaded steps, unblended, with a hard highlight edge on her shoulder and his jaw. Palette: sun-bleached cream sand, saturated cyan sea, clean sky blue and cloud white, her blonde and black bow, coral nail lacquer and frangipani, the shirt's deep teal and pale blossom print, and the warm orange of his lenses against his dark blond hair -- nothing else admitted. Warm, sunlit, easygoing.
