character: q-bee, copyright: darkstalkers 1girl, solo, q-bee, purple hair, short hair, flared hairstyle, bee antennae, insect wings, (bee stinger:1.3), bare shoulders, corset, white fur bracelets, purple pantyhose, large breasts, (purple sclera:1.2), flying, hovering, looking at viewer, smile, seductive expression, seductive smile, half-closed eyes, sexy pose, facing viewer, oiled skin, glistening skin, cowboy shot, dutch angle, ((retro artstyle)), ((moonlight, full moon, forest, graveyard, night sky, moon, bigger moon, graveyard, tombstone, dead trees, starry night sky, fog, candles)), dynamic motion, tilted frame, from below, night, motion lines, parted lips, blush, windblown hair, The camera sits low and cants hard to the left, so the whole frame tilts and the moon hangs off-kilter in the upper right; the shot is a cowboy shot, cropped at mid-thigh, and the single figure faces the viewer dead-on. She hovers a metre above the ground with no support under her: knees drawn up and crossed at the ankle, torso leaned back, weight carried by nothing but the insect wings beating at her back -- translucent veined wings blurred at the trailing edge, the blur sharper near the tips than at the root. Her short purple hair flares out and fans upward from the updraft of her own wings, strands lifted off her forehead, and the two bee antennae curve up out of it, tips quivering. The bee stinger (bee stinger:1.3) sweeps low behind her hip, struck by moonlight along its upper ridge, its underside in shadow. Oiled skin (oiled skin) catches the moon in hard narrow highlights -- a line down the bridge of the nose, a bead on the collarbone, a sheen across the bare shoulders and the tops of the large breasts above the corset's laced edge; the corset itself is dark and matte so the light slides off it and pools instead on the skin. Both wrists are ringed in thick white fur bracelets, the fur haloed where the moon grazes it. The purple pantyhose run seamless down the crossed legs, one long specular streak following the shin, darkening into the hollow behind the knee. Her forearms lift, one hand turned palm-up and half-curled at her chest, the other trailing lower with fingers loosely spread; both hands crisp and clean-edged. She looks straight at the viewer, chin dipped, one brow slightly arched, a small lopsided smile parting her lips, the pupils set in (purple sclera:1.2) that hold a highlight from the moon. Behind her and below, the graveyard recedes: leaning tombstones in the near midground with their inscriptions worn illegible, a low iron fence half-swallowed by fog, dead trees with bare crooked branches scratching the starry night sky, and a full moon rendered far bigger than life, its disc dominating the upper third and rimming her silhouette. Fog rolls in a slow bank at knee height, thin enough to show the grass beneath, thick enough to hide the base of the farthest stones. Candles burn in small clusters among the graves -- real flame light, warm orange, each flame's glow pooling on the wax and the nearest stone face and dropping off fast, so the scene holds two light sources: the cold blue-white moon from the upper right and the small warm candle pools from below. The candle flames lean in one direction and the fog streams the same way, revealing a steady wind; her hair and the fur bracelets answer it. Saturated purples, moonlit blues and candle oranges against the black of the trees, rendered with the flat saturated colours, crisp distinct linework and cel-shaded shadows of late 20th century animation. Sexy, moonlit and a little dangerous.
