Ange en Dentelle, meaning Angel in Lace, is an art contest celebrating the beauty, elegance, and versatility of lace. Your challenge is to create artwork featuring one or more characters dressed in gorgeous outfits made from, adorned with, or prominently featuring lace.

From heavenly gowns and romantic dresses to gothic ensembles, elaborate costumes, and imaginative fantasy designs, the interpretation is entirely yours. Let lace become part of the character’s identity—soft and ethereal, dramatic and ornate, vintage and refined, or something wholly unexpected.

This contest is an invitation to celebrate beautiful fashion, thoughtful character design, and the artistry found in even the smallest details. So gather your ribbons, frills, embroidery, and lace, and create something worthy of being called an “Ange en Dentelle”.

Rules

• Unlimited submissions are welcome. Enter as many pieces as you like, but if you win, only one of your submissions will be selected as the winning entry.

• Lace is required. The character or characters in your artwork must be wearing lace as part of their outfit. If the lace is not being worn, the submission will not be considered.

• Have fun! Be creative, experiment with your designs, and most importantly, enjoy making something beautiful.
