What Remains: A Requiem for the Unseen

Don't show us what happened. Show us what remains.

A war has ended. A name has been forgotten. A door was closed and never opened again. Paint the silence left behind, not the event itself.

【Theme】

• The aftermath of an unseen tragedy (war, loss, collapse, disappearance)
• Traces of the past: an object, a mark, an empty space, a forgotten detail

【Rules】

• Show the aftermath only, not the event happening
• One single image, no collages or before/after splits
• No text or captions explaining the story
• Include at least two visual clues from the past
• No graphic violence, gore, or dramatic action poses
• Leave the story open to interpretation

Any art style is welcome, including chibi, painterly, or realistic.

Come create your own requiem.
