A high-angle close-up view looking down at the subjects. A woman with very long gradient hair, transitioning from deep purple to blonde, is seated on a seamless, soft cream-colored floor. Her white dress with long sleeves pools around her. A young boy with unremarkable, plain brown hair and a neutral, featureless expression lies with his head resting on her lap. He is curled slightly inward, attempting to occupy as little space as possible, his presence muted and unassuming. The woman looks down at him with a tender, serene expression, her yellow eyes softened. Her right hand is buried in the boy's hair, fingers gently stroking his crown in a slow, rhythmic headpat. The light is a warm, diffused overhead glow that casts soft, hazy shadows in the folds of her dress, with the boy's face partially veiled by the shadow of her leaning torso. The palette is dominated by ivory, soft purple, and pale gold. Tender.
