The fractures are thin, irregular, branching cracks rather than simple straight lines, forming a natural radial shattered-glass pattern. Each major fragment has slightly different angles and shapes, with subtle variations in transparency and optical distortion caused by the fractured glass surfaces.
Bright, delicate reflections catch along the fracture lines and transparent glass edges, while subtle refraction and slight localized distortion appear within individual glass fragments. Fine highlights along the broken edges reveal the thickness and physical presence of the glass without obscuring the artwork beneath it.
The shattered glass exists entirely as a foreground optical layer. The original image, characters, objects, composition, anatomy, colors, lighting, and details remain intact and unchanged beneath the transparent glass.
