1 entity, solo, ancient god, colossal figure, body of cosmic stardust, deep violet and indigo nebula clouds forming the torso, skin of glittering star motes and dust constellations, exposed golden clockwork gears, brass cogs embedded in the chest and shoulders, gear rings around the joints, sleeping, eyes closed, serene face, lying on its back, arms folded across the chest, head tilted back, long horizontal composition, wide shot, from side, from above, low horizon, towering dune ridge in foreground, desert, sand dunes, wind ripples, night sky, starfield, milky way, crescent moon, half-buried monument, gears half-sunk in sand, ancient, majestic, mysterious, atmospheric haze, cinematic lighting from moon and starlight, purple and gold palette
Seen from a high side angle looking slightly down along the length of the dune field, the colossal ancient god sleeps: it lies on its back in the middle of the endless desert, body half-sunk into the sand as though the dunes have drifted over it for centuries. The torso is a volume of cosmic stardust — deep blue and violet nebula clouds packed dense enough to read as flesh, seeded with thousands of glittering star motes that form faint constellations across the chest and belly. Golden clockwork gears break the surface of the stardust body: a great brass gear ring turns at the center of the chest, smaller cogs nest in each shoulder and along the collarbones, and gear trains run down the outer arms, their teeth half-buried where the sand has risen over the elbows. One knee rises out of the sand as a low hill above the desert floor, the other leg fully buried, and its arms are folded across the chest, giant hands of dust and brass resting closed over the heart-gear. The face is calm and closed-eyed, tilted back and away on the neck, brow smooth, lips parted slightly, stardust spilling from the hollow of the collarbone like breath made visible. The wind is the only motion: fine sand streams off the crests of the dunes and over the god's shoulders, drifting into the spaces between the gear teeth, and a faint veil of dust hangs where the exhalation of the sleeping body lifts the particles. Foreground: a towering wind-carved dune ridge cuts the lower right of the frame in dark ochre silhouette, its ridge-line leading the eye upward toward the god's head. Behind, the desert empties out to a flat horizon, and the night sky holds a dense band of stars and a thin crescent moon that throws a cold blue-silver light along the god's upper surfaces — the top of the chest, the raised knee, the rims of every gear — while the sand beneath and between the body lies in deep warm shadow. Brass catches the moonlight as dull gold; the stardust body glows from within, faint at the edges, brightest at the heart-gear, and the light it casts pools in the sand around the god's body in a soft halo. Palette: deep indigo and violet for the stardust body, old brass and dull gold for the machinery, ochre and dusty warm shadow for the desert, cold blue-silver for the moonlight, absolute black in the night sky. Scale is read entirely through the dunes and the tiny ridge-lines on the buried limbs — the god fills the middle distance and disappears past the frame edges. Majestic, hushed, mysterious.
