What if Aurora’s curse changed her instead

When Aurora pricked her finger on the spinning wheel, the curse transformed her into something that no one could comprehend. As her transformation took hold, she saw she had become. Her new form was elegant and powerful, regal and savage, monstrous and beautiful, all at the same time. It was as if this was what she was truly meant to be. Princess Aurora stepped out onto the balcony of the castle tower, midnight wind caressed her cheek, as she stretched out her wings. She stepped onto the edge and allowed herself to free fall from her ivory prison. The wind filled her wings and began to lift her high above castle. This was Aurora’s first true taste of freedom.
