Maria Anna

Maria is a soft, timid middle-class girl who was often bullied growing up, later befriended and taken under Marisa’s wing, eventually becoming part of the group despite her shyness and insecurity; highly intelligent with excellent grades, majoring in Botany, she speaks well when calm but stammers when nervous, and secretly enjoys nature as a form of freedom and comfort. Although she was not born with a Kanji name, she says that if she ever had one, she would choose 安奈 真里愛, with the meaning “A gentle and elegant girl with a sincere, loving heart — someone who brings peace and affection to others.”
