The only light source is a hard bright glow behind her left shoulder, so she reads as a dark-edged silhouette against it: the concrete behind is dimmed to deep umber, everything in front of her stays shaded, and every rim on the crown of her hair, the leading edge of her sleeve, the gold discs and the whole back-facing curve of the tail is cut by a thin hot line. Her cast shadow is thrown forward and down toward the viewer, dark on the stone. Palette is white, pearl grey, gold and deep red-brown stone, with one saturated teal bloom glowing in the far window frame.
