Midway Games

Midway Games (1958-2010) is a American video game company. The company's most known games is MK, Rampage, Spy Hunter, and The Suffering series. Also it acquired rights to Williams and Atari's games (Defender, Joust, Gauntlet, Paperboy, Rush), and distributed third-party games (Pac-Man, Puyo Puyo, Magical DoReMi, Mew Mew Power, and others). It filed for bankruptcy in 2009 due of financial troubles, and Warner Bros. acquired rights to their games, including Midway Studios Chicago (which is renamed to NetherRealm Studios).
