On the left side of the frame, a statuesque winged warrior stands braced in a defiant wide stance, his weight planted firmly on his rear armored sabaton. His noble, chiseled features are framed by flowing golden-blonde hair lifted by rising hot air, and his sorrowful yet resolute blue eyes are locked directly onto his opponent. Enormous feathered white wings stretch outward from his back in a wide dramatic sweep, catching bright golden rimlight along every primary feather. He is clad in resplendent baroque gold power armor intricately worked with sculpted filigree and ruby tear-shaped gems, his gauntleted hand holding an ornate masterwork blade angled down toward the deck. Facing him on the right, towering in height and bulk, a menacing bald warlord leans forward aggressively, his pallid face hardened into a ruthless sneer with glowing crimson slit-pupil eyes glaring across the floor. He wears gargantuan soot-black and brass-trimmed heavy power armor adorned with spikes, a heavy fur pelt draped across massive pauldrons, and a glowing baleful eye sigil etched into the center of his chest. His left forearm is encased in a colossal mechanical gauntlet ending in curved power talons, while his right armored grip clasps the haft of a massive bludgeoning war maul resting against the flagstones. Between their planted boots, the cracked obsidian floor is webbed with fissures, tangled power conduits, and glowing embers. A thermal updraft rising from shattered deck vents lofts burnt ash and a few drifting downy white feathers into the air between them, swirling in the turbulence before the shattered void viewports behind them. Apocalyptic tragedy.
